Overview

Assistant Project Manager - Public Infrastructure at Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) – San Francisco Bay Area. The role focuses on coordinating between field, project teams, and customers, and supporting project activities such as changes, submittals, tracking logs, and related documents.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate between field team, project team, and customers under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Review and track project activities including change orders, submittals, tracking logs, and related project documents.
  • Facilitate learning, drive team meetings, and direct the work of Project Engineers and Project Coordinators in partnership with the Project Manager and field team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
  • Experience : Three (3) or more years of experience specifically as a Project Engineer in electrical construction, or MEP experience in general contracting. Minimum five (5)+ years of related experience, including some time managing smaller projects.
  • Driving Record : Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Licensure / Certifications : None required.
  • Other : Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify.

    Salary Range : $101,000 to $120,000. Final determination varies based on location and candidate qualifications. CEI offers a competitive compensation package and robust benefits. Includes equal employment opportunity and affirmative action statements.
