Role Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer : design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines that power mission-critical applications. Lead efforts in automation, cloud architecture, monitoring, and security to ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance. Work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and influence best practices across the engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
• Define and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Oversee Linux system administration and configuration management with Chef or Ansible.
• Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines with tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, AWS Pipelines, or Jenkins.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, PHP, Ruby, Go, or Node.js.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
• Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes.
• Apply cloud security best practices (subnets, security groups, firewall rules, WAF, DNS, SSH).
• Support PCI compliance preparation and audits.
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system reliability optimization.
