Base pay range

$180,000.00 / yr - $195,000.00 / yr

Hamlyn Williams is exclusively partnered with a well-funded stealth biotech in LA, looking for a Principal Scientist, heavily involved in the in vivo space, sepcifically in the CNS / Neurodegenerative arena. The key focus for this individual is to drive IND-enabling studies and support the advancement of our CNS-targeted therapeutic programs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the design and execution of in vivo pharmacology studies to support discovery and IND-enabling research.
• Oversee bioanalytical strategy, including quantitative assays such as ELISA, MSD, qPCR, LC / MS, and histological methods to evaluate biodistribution, exposure, and pharmacodynamics.
• Serve as a key scientific lead in interactions with CROs, academic collaborators, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with development goals.
• Interpret data from preclinical studies and contribute to regulatory submissions, including IND packages.
• Manage and mentor junior scientists or research associates.
• Contribute to strategic planning for CNS programs, including evaluation of drug delivery platforms and therapeutic opportunities.

Qualifications :

Salary varies based on experience and level, we are targeting between $160k - 200k base before bonus, 401k and benefits.
