Overview
Dahua Technology is a global leader in security solutions with more than 20,000 employees around the world. The Technological Pre-Sales Engineer (CCTV / Electronic Security) is an extension of the sales team, responsible for the technical sale of the products and solutions offered by Dahua Technology. This role involves understanding client needs, developing solutions with Dahua products, and technically and strategically defending these solutions against competitors.
Responsibilities
- Project management : Develop and follow up on complete projects with the brand\'s products and project management methodologies. Design customized solutions.
- Support sales projects by specifying Dahua products according to clients\' technological requirements.
- Present Dahua products and solutions, highlighting benefits, competitive advantages, and market differentiators.
- Provide support and guidance in the pre-sales process, identifying technical and commercial requirements to design optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve commercial objectives and industry-related strategies.
- Analyze technical specifications (RFPs and terms of reference for government bids) to identify compatible Dahua products.
- Prepare materials such as BoQ (bill of materials), presentations, guides, and reports.
- Prepare and conduct proofs of concept (PoC) to demonstrate the effectiveness of the solutions.
Requirements
Degree in Software Engineering, Networks, Communications, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields.Minimum 5 years of experience in security technologies and technical proposals for projects.Soft skills : analytical and detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, strong character.Experience in projects from at least one industry : Retail, Mobility, Utilities, Education, Finance, Smart Cities, Traffic, Justice, Government, Health, Hospitality, Entertainment, or Construction.Knowledge : design and integration of CCTV solutions and projects; VMS platforms (DSSPro, Milestone, Genetec, ISS, etc.); bidding processes; security technologies such as CCTV, access control, videowalls, alarms; and basic knowledge of structured cabling.Availability to travel within the country.Advanced, conversational English.Seniority level
