Job Description
This position is contingent on contract award.
This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. and provide services outlined below :
International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is looking for an individual who is an experienced Emergency Room Physician to provide immediate medical care to patients facing acute illnesses and injuries, operating in a fast-paced environment such as a trauma center. They are responsible for quickly assessing and stabilizing patients, performing life-saving interventions, and coordinating further treatment with specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes in critical situations.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements / Certifications :
Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Must possess significant recent experience working in an Emergency Medicine Setting.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Education Required :
Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association, Association of American Medical Colleges, Liaison Committee on Medical Education, Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
Pass / possess VA Public Trust Clearance.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
