Remote Temporary Structures Drafter / Designer - Civil & Structural

Overview

Responsibilities

Draft and design temporary structures for civil and structural projects, ensuring safety, stability, and usability.
Create detailed drawings and models for cofferdams, excavation shoring systems, bridge falsework, and a variety of concrete formwork.
Interpret architectural and engineering plans accurately and translate them into constructible drawings.
Collaborate with team members and clients, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in civil and structural drafting / design for temporary structures (e.g., cofferdams, excavation shoring, bridge falsework, concrete formwork).

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent).

Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles.

Experience working in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans accurately.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Experience working with remote teams and strong self-management skills.

English fluency is required.

Must have a stable internet connection and be available for flexible work hours.
