Overview
We are looking for a "Chief Operating Officer" to join the team Peru of an expanding global FinTech company to ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules. You will also review employees’ work and provide advice on compliance.
Responsibilities
- Measuring and improving the efficiency of an organisation’s operational processes
- Developing and ensuring the implementation of organisational growth strategies
- Liaising between the organisation and clients for the purpose of quality assurance
- Ensuring that all employees, including senior management, have access to mentoring and coaching in order to maximise motivation
- Creating and managing all operational budgets to ensure that the company has all the resources it needs to meet its objectives within agreed-upon financial parameters and maintain the company’s financial strength
- Providing the operational team with the leadership and resources they need to complete operations initiatives successfully
- Working with human resources (HR) to ensure that recruitment and retention policies and processes are successful
- Reviewing operations on a regular basis to ensure that they meet required standards and recommending changes as needed
Requirements & Skills
Previous working experience in Fintech business (Digital Banking, Payment processing etc.) in a leadership roleStrong commercial acumen maintaining a keen focus on revenues, growth and profitabilityAbility to combine strategic and analytical capabilities with a results-focused approachLead and execute on business objectivesProven success building a risk-based business (both strategy and execution)Experience with structuring, developing and growing channel life cyclesSolid executive presence and relationship management skillsSubject matter expert with a strong background in market definition with deep expertise across strategy, product, pricing, marketing and technologyCreates a sense of purpose for the future; vividly describes their vision and provides direction for how to get thereSets clear expectations and directions along with inspirationEncourages learning culture; fosters self-challenge and takes ownership; provides a safe environment for trial and errorTechnical and Financial percipienceExperience
