Overview

Domain Technical Project Manager role at Nokia. We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage all Infra CDS Cloud Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all operational aspects required to ensure timely, high quality and cost-efficient Domain deliverables. A thorough knowledge of CNS operational processes and understanding of KPIs is required. A strong knowledge of Ops tools including BP, ERM and the Work Package delivery model is required. The candidate is knowledgeable in Cloud technologies (NCS, Kubernetes, OCP, NCP). The CNS S&C Cloud Domain team is responsible for Infra platform deliveries including NCP / OCP platforms, support of Orchestration / Automation (NCOM, NCD), Multi-Vendor Cloud technologies, HW deliveries and Software upgrade activities. The emphasis, as always, is Delivery Quality, Cost and Timeliness.

Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibility is to meet / exceed the KPI ops targets for the Domain.
  • You will accomplish this through Operational leadership and support to Delivery Teams.
  • Provide Operational leadership across multiple Central delivery teams.
  • Ensure adherence to KPI goals through effective communication and tracking of targets.
  • Manage all operational KPIs related to cost including HC and Supplier costs.
  • Report on key KPI metrics that measure delivery effectiveness and ensure delivery teams are meeting or exceeding target goals. Measure operational efficiency through detailed analysis of data extracted from BP, ERM.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience providing operational leadership to large delivery teams supporting project deliveries for customers’ core telecom networks.
  • Qualification : BSEE / BSCE / BSCS degree. Masters preferred.
  • A good understanding of Cloud technologies is required - including Native Cloud, OCP, VMware, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker.
  • A deep understanding of CNS Operational processes including the generation and reporting of KPIs that measure delivery effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of Operational tools used by Nokia S&C (Services and CARE) organization such as BP (Business Process), ERM (time reporting).
  • You will be working with Global teams and will need to be flexible and adaptable to working styles, cultures and time zones.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience : people management, project management, cost management and risk management.
  • In-depth knowledge in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and other tools.
  • Strong communicator with expertise and fluency in reporting and operational management.
