Overview

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Crisis Case Manager for our client, a highly regarded nonprofit organization in Los Angeles. This is a full-time opportunity to join an inspiring and mission-driven team!

The Case Manager provides direct advocacy and support to those who have been impacted by exploitation. As a Case Manager / Advocate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and advocating for clients' rights and needs. This position contributes directly to the development and implementation of impactful programs and positively impacts the lives of survivors.

  • Provide crisis coordination and response, offering advocacy assistance to clients during challenging times.
  • Ensure clients receive crucial resources and advocacy, particularly when facing language and cultural barriers.
  • Offer case management services through a relational approach, addressing both short- and long-term needs.
  • Conduct intake, assessments, and service planning in both Spanish and English.
  • Adapt case management services specifically for Spanish-speaking clients, covering referrals, crisis intervention, and advocacy.
  • Perform thorough assessments to determine client needs and develop tailored safety and service plans.
  • Help clients navigate complicated systems such as law enforcement, immigration, court processes, and social services.
  • Meet regularly with clients to offer ongoing support and advocacy, adjusting frequency based on client needs.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, victim service providers, and community organizations to support clients.
  • Aid clients in identifying their needs and connect them to resources in areas such as housing, employment, mental and physical health, education, legal aid, and more.
  • Document client interactions and activities accurately in the Salesforce database.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training to foster professional development.
  • Complete necessary continuing education and certifications, such as CPR and First Aid.

What you need to be successful :

  • 1 year of crisis intervention experience
  • 1 year of case management experience
  • Compensation :

    This opportunity offers a salary of $64,000 annually plus benefits including 20 days of paid vacation per year, 6 paid sick days, 10 paid holidays, health, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) match up to 3%, maternity / paternity leave, child care reimbursement, internet reimbursement, counseling benefits, mileage reimbursements, and the opportunity to work with a passionate and supportive team.
