Key Responsibilities:
The Regional Compliance Officer provides administrative and coordination support to ensure the timely submission of reports and compliance with Operations (Safeguarding, SFG, DMEAL) and Strategy Realisation (Data & Analytics) requirements. This entry-level position focuses on information management, reminders, tracking, documentation, and communication with Field Offices and other stakeholders. The role ensures that all processes are monitored, required information is shared, and reports are submitted and organised in line with global and regional standards. It does not involve technical analysis or strategic decision-making.
Compliance Coordination & Administrative Follow-Up
- Maintain regional compliance calendars and follow-up trackers for all reporting cycles.
- Send reminders to Field Offices (FOs) and regional teams about Global Centre (GC) and Regional Offices (RO) deadlines.
- Collect, organize, and file documents submitted by FOs and technical teams.
- Ensure documentation is saved, named, and stored correctly in SharePoint or designated systems.
Safeguarding (SFG) Compliance Support
- Consolidate Annual Safeguarding Reports from FOs.
- Assist in communication, scheduling, and preparation for the Annual Safeguarding Week.
- Support communication with Field Offices - Safeguarding focal points to clarify required submissions.
Support to Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (DME) and Data & Analytics Teams Compliance
- Support Tracking deliverables requested by the Global Centre for monitoring cycles (AIM/AIM+ and other submissions).
- Support the Data & Analytics Advisor by collecting datasets, confirmations, or document submissions from FOs.
- Maintain simple trackers and calendars for DME and Analytics reporting cycles.
General Administrative Support
- Support scheduling of compliance-related meetings.
- Draft short messages (reminders, confirmations, follow-up notes).
- Prepare basic documents or folders for internal reviews.
- Support Face to face (F2F) events, when it ocuurs.
- 2 years in administrative support, compliance coordination, customer service, or information/document management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Administration, International Development, or a related field.
- Strong Attention to Detail.
- Clear and professional communication.
- Ability to follow instructions and manage follow-up cycles.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc).
