Overview

Associate Product Manager WM at Scotiabank Peru. Contributes to the execution of the digital strategy of International Wealth Management in the country, executing / developing the vision, construction, evolution and operation within a product-channel line. Promotes collaborative work in a multidisciplinary team to generate value for the business and the clients. Ensures that all activities are developed in accordance with internal norms, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the execution of the digital strategy of International Wealth Management in the country, executing / developing the vision, construction, evolution and operation within a product-channel line. Promote collaborative work in a multidisciplinary team to generate value for the business and the clients. Ensure that all activities are developed in accordance with the norms, policies and procedures in force.
• Lead the definition of the vision, strategy and roadmap of a Wealth Management digital product.
• Support the definition of the platform’s vision and strategy, and help create the roadmap and plan features with high complexity and / or criticality for the organization.
• Manage the lifecycle of the platform, overseeing launches and continuous improvements of the channel, participating in discovery of opportunities and delivery of solutions, following Lean Product Management principles.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities aligned with business objectives and the bank’s strategy.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, designers, and business analysts to build solutions that generate value for the business and clients.
• Validate hypotheses through experiments, build solutions, measure results and incrementally optimize features within scope.
• Ensure that solutions and the operation of the digital business unit comply with obligations defined by the bank’s control units (Compliance, Legal, AML, Risk...).
• Research emerging technologies, trends and existing solutions in the product vertical.
• Monitor KPIs and results, proposing improvements based on data and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Segment teams to define and execute the product launch strategy to the market.
• Develop deep knowledge of emerging technologies, trends and solutions in the product area.
• Build solid relationships with key stakeholders in the business unit and communicate the product vision, roadmap and deliverables to the digital product in charge.
• Manage / register initiatives in JIRA (prepare blueprints and manage the registration process), lead coordination meetings with Product teams and follow-up calls with IT to accelerate deliveries without compromising quality.
