A leading non-profit education institution in the Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced and meticulous Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for faculty, administrative staff, and hourly employees.

• This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working remotely while maintaining strong collaboration with HR, Finance, and school leadership.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education payroll, including union and non-union environments, and demonstrate deep knowledge of California labor laws.
• Strong familiarity with Workday, CalSTRs and CalPers.
• At least 3 years of experience with processing full-cycle payroll and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; OR
• At least 5 years of experience with processing full-cycle payroll work experience and a HS Diploma or equivalent (e.g. G.E.D.)
