This role is based in either Argentina or Chile, with flexibility regarding the specific city. The work mode for this position is flexible, offering a blend of remote and on-site work depending on the candidate’s location and the needs of the organization. The role involves frequent travel within Latin America, particularly across Argentina and Chile, to engage with donors and partners in-person.

Purpose of the Position
The Associate Director of Development II (ADOD II) is responsible for managing a portfolio and building strong relationships with prospects / donors in Argentina or Chile to support TNCs work in Latin America. They will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of individuals, foundations and corporations in the assigned countries, with emphasis on high net worth individuals and carrying out asks to meet funding needs.
The ADoD II will develop a referral network and may manage formal and / or informal networks of volunteers. They understand and apply complex principles of developing donor strategies. They can discuss assets and listen for opportunities for gifts.
The ADoD II provides opportunities for donors to contribute in a meaningful way to the sustainable development of Latin America.
They involve and engage appropriate partners inside and outside the organization to effectively develop donor strategies, engage prospects and craft proposals for support. They can feature the programs of the Conservancy in detailed terms.
They will be required to use the Conservancy’s donor database.
