Medical Director (Lima)

We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to join our team in Peru. The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership and strategic direction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. This role will oversee medical staff performance, promote compliance with healthcare regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. The Medical Director will be instrumental in shaping clinical policies, supporting medical teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Role and ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical leadership and oversight to medical staff and healthcare teamsDevelop, implement, and monitor medical policies and procedures in line with local healthcare regulations and company standardsEnsure compliance with Peruvian health laws, accreditation requirements, and internal protocolsCollaborate with administrative, operational, and clinical departments to optimize healthcare delivery and patient outcomesLead clinical quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance patient safety and service excellenceOversee medical staff recruitment, training, and professional development activitiesReview and analyze clinical performance metrics and prepare reports for senior managementServe as a liaison with external healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and professional organizationsPromote a culture of continuous learning, ethical practice, and patient-centered careSkill Requirements / PreferencesProven leadership skills in managing clinical teams and healthcare servicesStrong knowledge of Peruvian healthcare regulations and clinical best practiceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with medical staff and stakeholdersAbility to analyze clinical data and drive performance improvementsStrategic thinking with the capacity to lead change and innovation in healthcare deliveryHigh ethical standards and commitment to patient safety and quality careEducation RequirementsMedical degree (MD) from a recognized institutionValid medical license to practice in Peru is mandatory
