The Role

Senior QA Automation Engineer at Apply Digital. You will help validate that applications meet design specifications and requirements across iOS, Android, Web, Voice Recognition, AR, IoT, and other digital-to-human interfaces. Products should be tested for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with supported devices, browsers, and user interfaces.

ABOUT YOU :

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • You have 6+ years of experience in automation roles
  • You have a deep understanding of software QA methodologies, best practices, tools, and processes
  • You have 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript or a similar scripting language
  • You have 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining test automation scripts (preferably with Cypress, Playwright, and Appium using JavaScript)
  • You strongly understand CI / CD platforms and incorporate QA best practices
  • You have a deep understanding of Agile / Scrum development principles
  • You have experience mentoring other team members on QA best practices
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You are self-driven and take ownership of tasks from start to finish
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You can multi-task and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • You are detail-oriented and adept at spotting, preventing, and troubleshooting issues before clients see them

ABOUT THE JOB :

  • Test Strategy and Planning : Lead the creation of test strategies and plans for complex projects, define test approach, coverage, and deliverables with cross-functional teams
  • Test Execution and Coverage : Conduct automated and manual testing for complex systems; ensure high-priority scenarios and broad coverage, including non-functional and edge cases
  • Test Automation Architecture and Development : Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks; promote automation practices and integrate into CI / CD
  • Test Leadership : Provide technical leadership to the QA team and mentor junior engineers
  • Test Environment Management : Oversee test environment setup and maintenance
  • Test Metrics and Reporting : Define and monitor key test metrics and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
  • Test Process Optimization : Continuously improve testing processes and adopt new tools and methods
  • Risk-Based Testing : Apply risk-based prioritization to testing activities
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management : Align testing with project objectives and manage stakeholder expectations
