The Maintenance - Utilities Supervisor oversees a maintenance or utilities team responsible for the continuous operations of a Grifols manufacturing facility. The Supervisor may coordinate installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair work in their area of responsibility or provide oversight of utility systems. They manage teams of technicians, contractors, and staff, perform inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and assign work. The Supervisor must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts within their scope of responsibility and be available 24 / 7 for emergencies. The primary goal is to ensure production equipment and utility systems are in good, safe condition and meet operational needs. Responsibilities also include safety, compliance, process improvement, and leveraging experience for planning and management.

We seek individuals with experience managing Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) teams, overseeing daily activities of service providers, ensuring compliance with standards, GMP, safety, and contractual obligations. Proven ability to foster collaboration and deliver cost-effective facility operations is essential.

Primary responsibilities include :

• Prioritizing scheduled and unscheduled work to minimize impact on manufacturing while maintaining compliance and cost-efficiency.
• Managing technician PTO and on-call schedules.
• Reviewing work orders in the maintenance management system for accuracy.
• Ensuring SOPs are followed according to safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Supervising employees for OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Conducting safety meetings and inspections.
• Supporting long- and short-term goals.
• Responding to critical issues 24 / 7, including off-hours manufacturing areas.
• Ensuring employee training, certifications, and qualifications.
• Engaging with staff to motivate and meet expectations.
• Reviewing and approving timecards and work schedules.
• Conducting performance evaluations.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and capital projects.
• Responding to work order trends affecting operations.
• Communicating effectively with partners to ensure business continuity.
• Handling SAP transactions for raw materials (Utilities).
• Performing some or all Utilities Sr. Operations Specialist duties depending on supervision level.

Additional responsibilities include :

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Education : Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, with relevant certifications.

Experience : Minimum 5 years in a similar role, with at least 2 years in leadership, preferably in a regulated environment or military.

Pay Scale : $120,621.20 to $135,000 annually, with potential bonuses and benefits. Compensation depends on education, experience, and location.
