Job Summary

As a Senior Data Architect (16889) , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design and maintain enterprise-level data architectures aligned with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Define data modeling strategies for relational and non-relational databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
  • Lead the design of data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes, applying best practices for OLAP and OLTP systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies, metadata management, and data quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
  • B2 / C1 / C2 English skills.
  • 5+ years of experience required on data architecture :
  • Hands-on experience in defining and implementing data mesh principles across multiple domains.
  • Proven expertise in dimensional modeling (Star and Snowflake schema).
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Data Vault 2.0 modeling.
  • Experience designing enterprise data architecture using modern lakehouse, delta lake, and warehouse patterns.
  • Proficient in designing logical, physical, and canonical data models aligned with business domains.
  • Experience working with metadata management and catalogs.

  • Technologies :
  • Python expert.
  • Open Format Table expert (Delta lake or Iceberg or Hudi).
  • Azure / GCP cloud professional data architect certification.
  • GCP Dataplex expert.
  • Databricks Unity Catalog expert.
  • Spark and / or Flink expert.
