This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on, bringing structure and scalability to a dynamic environment.We're looking for a proven leader with a strong technical foundation who thrives in high-growth CPG settings and can build efficient processes without losing agility.Responsibilities : Lead and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, journal entries, reconciliations, and accrualsDrive the month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timelinessDevelop, refine, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsPartner with external auditors and manage annual audit processesCollaborate closely with FP&A; on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisAssess, implement, and optimize ERP and other financial systems (NetSuite preferred)Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing accounting team as the business scalesDeliver clear, accurate, and timely financials to internal stakeholders and PE sponsorsQualifications : 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership in corporate accounting and controllership rolesStrong public accounting background (Big 4 or large regional firm) requiredActive or inactive CPA licensePrior CPG or related industry experience, ideally with omni-channel and inventory exposurePrior experience in PE-backed or fast-growth environments preferredExceptional communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindsetAdditional Notes : This is a remote role with flexibility, but candidates in Los Angeles or other key markets will be prioritized for periodic in-person leadership meetings.
