Position objective

Support external and internal clients with quotations and technical knowledge related to pumping solutions, ensuring compliance with the guidelines of the Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the sales team by offering technical and application support for pumps.
  • Prepare quotations for pumps, hoses, valves, hydrocyclones, and pump spare parts.
  • Calculate costs and prices of pumps.
  • Perform sizing calculations for pumps and hydrocyclones.
  • Provide support to external clients, agents, distributors, and EPC contractors under the coordination of the sales department.
  • Support the Minerals Process Equipment (MPS) and Mining Systems (MS) teams with knowledge on pumping solutions for large-scale projects.
  • Act as the main point of contact within an assigned geographical area.
  • Serve as backup for colleagues in other regions when needed.
  • Support the sales team with order placement.
  • Follow up on assigned quotations.
  • Assist in gathering and preparing monthly progress reports.
  • Travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
  • Develop and support internal processes and tools that meet local requirements.

Profile Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering.
  • 3 years of work experience in similar roles.
  • Desirable experience in customer service or a support function, experience working with centrifugal pumps, and quotation processes.
  • Basic knowledge of pumps.
  • General knowledge in minerals and mineral processing.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general adaptability to new tools.
