Our work centers on modernizing trade ecosystems, improving regional connectivity, and designing forward-looking infrastructure and logistics strategies that enable inclusive economic growth.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Port-Centric Trade Policy Analyst to contribute to policy-driven research and infrastructure advisory projects across Latin America and beyond. This role involves structured research, regulatory analysis, and stakeholder mapping to support efforts in port modernization, cross-border trade facilitation, and alignment with global logistics standards.This opportunity is idóneo for professionals with a background in trade policy, transport economics, or infrastructure development—particularly those with experience engaging in donor-funded programs, regional integration initiatives, or institutional reform projects.Key Responsibilities- Conduct background research and comparative analysis of port and trade systems performance across the region- Draft thematic briefs on trade facilitation, customs modernization, and regulatory harmonization- Support development of strategic frameworks for port governance, digital infrastructure, and corridor integration- Analyze institutional mandates and stakeholder roles in port reform and trade ecosystem development- Interpret global benchmarks and logistics indicators to inform country- or corridor-level recommendations- Contribute to strategy papers, diagnostics, and technical notes for multilateral or public sector clients- Track relevant trade policy developments, bilateral agreements, and infrastructure reform agendas in the regionQualifications- University degree in Trade Policy, Development Economics, Infrastructure Planning, or related field- 2–5 years of experience in policy research, logistics advisory, or public sector modernization programs- Familiarity with trade corridors in the Andean or Pacific regions, customs systems, or port development frameworks is preferred- Experience contributing to donor-funded technical assistance, multilateral diagnostics, or intergovernmental strategy work- Strong research, writing, and synthesis skills, especially in drafting technical briefs for decision-makers- Fluent in English and Spanish (required)Application ProcessPlease submit your CV and a brief cover note via LinkedIn.
