Electrical Engineer

Location : Ireland

Position : Full‑time, permanent. Salary : €65,000 per year (39‑hour week). Overtime may apply and will increase pay proportionally.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for various engineering projects. Responsibilities include :

Designing and developing electrical systems for various projects.
Overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure.
Creating detailed drawings and technical reports.
Collaborating with architects, construction teams, and project managers.
Troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Requirements

Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.

Experience in electrical design and installation projects (preferred). Good knowledge of Irish and EU electrical regulations.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Technical qualifications in electrical engineering or related field.

Willingness to travel to various project sites.

Strong focus on safety and compliance.

Physical ability to conduct site inspections.

Flexibility to work extra hours if necessary.

Electrical Engineer, Junior

Location : Lima, Peru. Salary : S / .30,000 – S / .60,000. Company : Ausenco.

Required skills : ETAP modeling.

Semi‑Senior Electrical Engineer

Location : Lima, Peru. Salary : S / .60,000 – S / .80,000. Company : IDOM.

We are looking for a Semi‑Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Oil & Gas team in Peru. This role offers national and international projects, a supportive team, and exposure to the latest technologies.

About the job :

Design and development of conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering projects within the Oil & Gas industry.

Licensed and in good standing, complying with Peru’s Law 28858.

Intermediate English (B1) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Advanced proficiency in electrical design tools and simulation (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, DIALux EVO).

Knowledge of local and international design standards, including API, ANSI, NFPA, NTP, IEC, IEEE.

Experience with general lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems.

Strong teamwork, organization, customer orientation, and willingness to learn.

Willingness to travel and work under non‑standard (rotational) schedules.

Electrical Engineer – Work in Australia

Position : Full‑time. Locations : Multiple across Australia.

We are looking for engineers in the following areas :

Design Engineers : primary or secondary for MV and HV substations.

Protection Systems Engineer (Design or configuration).

Telecontrol Engineer : integrating and troubleshooting SCADA, Modbus, and IEC 61850 communications.

Commissioning and Testing Engineer : knowledge of Omicron required.

Transmission Lines Engineer : PLS‑CADD expertise required.

Grid connection Engineer : knowledge of PSSE required.

Key responsibilities :

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.

Ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety regulations.

Support the successful delivery of large‑scale energy and infrastructure projects.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in HV substations, SCADA systems, and IEC 61850 protocols.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems for HV substation systems and associated controls, standards, and safety protocols.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Willingness to relocate to Australia.
