About this Role

ERM is looking for a Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change Consultant to join its team in Lima, Peru. The role involves supporting the company’s ambitious growth initiatives and involves a broad range of responsibilities in the field of sustainability consulting. As a Climate Change Consultant, your role will include conducting greenhouse gas assessments, providing recommendations, and developing decarbonization roadmaps. You will regularly engage with complex data analysis while ensuring alignment with the latest environmental regulations and standards. Collaborative work with various stakeholders will be a core part of your responsibilities, ensuring that business practices are in line with corporate sustainability policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full potential GHG assessments and provide recommendations.
• Develop and review Green House Gas Inventories per international standards (GHG Protocol / ISO 14064).
• Conduct internal assessments for GHG accounting preparation.
• Monitor emissions, air quality, wastewater, and water conservation performance.
• Analyze complex data sets related to emissions and equipment efficiency.
• Develop decarbonization roadmaps, including mitigation and adaptation strategies.
• Ensure company alignment with environmental policies and standards.
• Develop environmental procedures and guidelines for decarbonization and GHG mitigation.
• Conduct GHG-related benchmarking studies for various industrial sectors.
• Stay updated on international and regional regulations concerning GHG accounting.
