Overview
In this role, you will be the financial thought partner to the Sales leaders with a focus on driving change by providing financial leadership on deal structures, risk assessment, approvals and the processes and policies used to execute IGT deals across Gaming, Digital, and Fintech.
Principal Activities and Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis - Conduct growth and margin analysis, discount impact assessment, and deal profitability modeling to support data-driven decision making
- Deal Structure Optimization - Collaborate with sales teams to structure deals that meet customer needs while protecting IGT’s financial and strategic interests. Be a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations to understand contract requirements, structure, business terms and identification of potential risks and / or opportunities that can affect performance, growth and strategic positioning
- Deal Review and Approval Management - Review and analyze enterprise deals exceeding standard parameters, focusing on pricing structures, contract terms, financial and operational implications
- Cross-Functional Coordination - Serve as the primary liaison between sales, accounting, finance, legal, and compliance teams throughout the deal lifecycle, ensuring smooth coordination and timely approvals
- Risk Assessment - Evaluate potential risks in non-standard deal terms and escalate appropriately to senior stakeholders
- Policy Implementation - Help develop and maintain deal approval policies, pricing guidelines, and exception handling procedures aligned with company objectives
- Process Development - Develop robust and repeatable deal processes, identifying areas for process improvement, automation, and simplification. Create and refine approval workflows, escalation procedures, and standardized templates that enable efficient processing of complex deals while maintaining appropriate controls
- Documentation and Reporting - Maintain comprehensive deal documentation and provide regular reporting on deal desk metrics, trends, and performance. Support the development of training materials and sales examples and conduct regular contract training sessions to reduce contract variations between similar deals
- Lead and develop an FP&A team by promoting a positive, high-performing and growth-oriented environment that consistently delivers results
Required Qualifications (Skills and Experience)
Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in financial planning analysis and / or accountingBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field requiredMBA degree or CPA designation preferredStrong analytical, financial and business acumen. Able to succinctly interpret data and frame business issues in a straightforward manner and communicate them effectively to senior managementResults-oriented with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work product and introduce innovative processes and solutionsAbility to set the financial agenda for the Sales teams, driving continuous improvement and efficiencies on tactical activities to drive increase capacity to support and partner with the businessProven ability to design operational procedures and processes to improve effectiveness and efficiencyEnsures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of financial and operational performanceSelf-motivated, able to work both independently and collaboratively with teamHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet multiple deadlinesProficient in SAP, BPC / Hyperion Planning Application, Excel and PowerPointAccounting Competencies Knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and aspects related to managing balance sheet assets including policies and requirements related to Capitalization and Asset ImpairmentsDemonstrated ability to develop a team and key talentKeys to Success : Building collaborative relationships, decision making, driving results, fostering innovation, and self-leadershipNote : Some programs have eligibility requirements—but we’ll help you navigate those.
Compensation and Benefits
At IGT, compensation and benefits are designed to reflect your background and experience. The starting compensation range is between $167,256 and $275,000, with room to go higher or lower depending on the full picture. Total Rewards program includes perks such as commissions / bonuses for eligible roles, health / dental / vision / life / accident & disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, identity theft insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company contributions. Some programs have eligibility requirements.
