H&C Construction LLC, a U.S.-based residential remodeling company, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Construction to lead and coordinate construction projects locally in Peru while maintaining direct communication with our management team in the U.S. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and advanced communication skills to ensure successful project execution aligned with both local and international standards.
The ideal candidate will have an academic background in Architecture or Civil Engineering, advanced proficiency in English, and the ability to manage resources, risks, and teams effectively in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of residential and commercial construction projects from initiation to closeout.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Supervise daily on-site operations in Lima and ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor costs, track expenses, and ensure overall profitability of assigned projects.
- Guarantee compliance with Peruvian construction regulations, safety protocols, and company standards.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues and deviations proactively.
Communication and Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact between the Peru operations and U.S. management.Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal leadership.Prepare detailed progress reports and financial updates for management in the U.S.Collaborate closely with architects, vendors, and field teams to maintain quality and efficiency.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (mandatory).Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management.Advanced proficiency in English (oral and written).Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of construction standards, safety regulations, and permitting processes in Peru.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Proficiency in project management tools such as Buildertrend, MS Project, or similar (preferred).Soft Skills & Core Competencies

Fully remote role across the LATAM region, primarily based in Peru. The role involves managing high‑impact technology and construction projects across Latin America, including delivery of Managed Services, DaaS, and Asset Recovery Services.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects end-to-end once they have been won, applying recognized methodologies such as PMI standards.Oversee Managed Services, Deploy Services, DaaS, and Asset Recovery Services projects.Ensure proper billing processes are followed, including purchase order (PO) creation and invoice management for customers.Act as a primary point of contact for customers, leading executive presentations and status updates.Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, providing regular reports to stakeholders.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.Qualifications & Skills

Responsibilities
Assist in the collection, maintenance, and analysis of project indicator data through designated platforms and monitoring tools, in close coordination with the Programme Support Unit (PSU); support monitoring and evaluation exercises and ensure key highlights are shared with the Project Officer.Liaise with implementing partners (NGOs, government institutions, private sector, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of activities.Coordinate and organize follow‑up meetings with IOM and / or KOICA teams at technical level to support implementation of the project's activities, in coordination with the Project Officer.Prepare draft progress reports, donor reports, meeting minutes and briefing notes for internal and external reporting.Support the design and drafting of project proposals in close coordination with programme units and relevant stakeholders, ensuring coherence with donor priorities, IOM strategies plan and national plans.Compile and systematize data and information to support communication and outreach activities, in close collaboration with the Communications team.Identify, map, and facilitate engagement with potential funding sources (bilateral, multilateral, private sector, foundations) to diversify IOM's resource base in coordination with PSU.Perform such other duties as may be assigned.Qualifications
Master's degree in international relations, political or social sciences, development studies or a related field or university degree in the above fields with two years of relevant professional experience.Experience in project management development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation is required.Experience in drafting proposals, donor reports or partnership brief is required.Work experience with UN and International Agencies, international or local NOGs is advantageous.Experience in communication, visibility and outreach activities is advantageous.Familiarity with donor‑funded project cycles, particularly KOICA or other bilateral donors, is desirable.Strong organizational and coordination abilities, with attention to detail.Sound writing, communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management systems.Excellent organization skills, analytical and creative thinking.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in multi‑cultural teams.Languages
