Overview

The Medi-Spa Physician administers cosmetic medical procedures to onboard guests. They must possess the clinical knowledge to administer these procedures safely and effectively, and be able to explain all aspects of the products and services to guests. They should have excellent communication skills and provide aesthetic medical solutions to address guest concerns. The Medi-Spa Physicians work with the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant for sales, marketing, and cross-promotion, with the Sales Consultant translating if necessary. They should gain knowledge of spa services and products to cross-promote to guests and will review and approve all service / treatment plans organized by the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Be on time for work and attend appointments promptingly.
  • Provide consistent professional medi-spa services and treatments according to OneSpaWorld’s protocols.
  • Conduct patient follow-up as required.
  • Be flexible with scheduling to support spa and guest needs.
  • Care for equipment and use proper product quantities to aid cost control.
  • Follow service pricing as set by OneSpaWorld.
  • Complete medical records with guests prior to services and maintain records according to policy (retained for specified years).
  • Cross-promote other spa services.
  • Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as directed; keep treatment rooms clean and stocked.
  • Manage medical product and supply inventory.
  • Communicate any occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention.
  • Address guest questions and concerns professionally and provide accurate responses.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and support a quality work environment.
  • Attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  • Train new staff in medi-spa services and cross-promotion skills.
  • Follow Medi-Spa Operations Policies and daily reporting procedures.

Qualifications

  • Completed medical education and hold a medical degree from a recognized college or university.
  • Current valid medical license.
  • Board certification or similar international certification in Plastic Surgery or Dermatology preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable presenting / speaking in front of large groups.
  • Fluency in English.
