MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking temporary and full-time Level II RT Techs for work in Lima, OH. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.
Applicants must provide the following documents :
- High School Diploma / GED / Degree
- Proof of classroom hours / training in NDT
- Previous Level II certifications / OJT

Major Responsibilities / Activities :
Set up and calibrate equipment.Conduct tests using appropriate NDT techniques.Interpret, evaluate, and document results.Be familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods certified in and capable of directing trainees and Level I personnel.Understand relevant codes, standards, and contractual documents.Work with minimal supervision.Identify and resolve problems promptly.Analyze information skillfully.Edit and present numerical data effectively.Minimum Requirements :
High School graduate or equivalent.Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A standards in UT, RT, MT, or PT.Prior certification as an NDE Level II with at least 1 year of experience, or as an NDE Level I with adequate field hours to certify to Level II.Industrial Radiographer Certification Card (required for radiographers).Completion of a 40-hour Radiation Safety Course (required for radiographers).Demonstrate key competencies such as problem solving, communication, interpersonal skills, planning, adaptability, dependability, quality, and safety.Working Conditions :
Outdoor work in a plant environment.Interaction with crew, supervisors, and clients.Work around machinery with high noise levels.Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs frequently.Wear safety equipment as required.Travel to multiple sites and tolerate climate changes.Essential Physical Functions :
Lift and carry 50 pounds frequently.Effective communication abilities.Good observation skills.Manual dexterity.Mobility for site navigation and travel.This description reflects management's assignment of essential functions and does not restrict other tasks.
