Recruiting Manager | CPA (Inactive) | Accounting-Focused Talent Partner | Enabling Finance & Accounting Teams to Grow Strategically

A national, fast-casual restaurant brand is looking for an Accounting Manager to step into a high-visibility role as a long-time team member retires. With 800+ locations and plans to reach 1,000 in the next year, this is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving, PE-backed organization.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead a small team (3 direct reports)
  • Own cash reconciliations, store deposits, journal entry preparation and review, and month-end close
  • Operate in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment supporting 800+ restaurant locations
  • Collaborate closely with the CAO and senior leadership

What We’re Looking For :

  • 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume, multi-unit environment
  • Experience leading a team (3+ people)
  • Strong background in transactional accounting (cash, lease payments, reconciliations)
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable with a busy but balanced 40-hour workweek
  • Salary up to $140K base + 10% bonus, depending on experience
  • Location : Mission Valley office with gym access (hybrid : 1–2 days / week preferred)
