Who We Are

At PracticeTek, we believe healthcare should be easy for providers, accessible for patients, and simple for everyone involved.

PracticeTek was established by healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs who share a common goal : to deliver seamless, high-quality, on-demand healthcare—free from the confusing limitations of traditional platforms.

PracticeTek is a collection of innovative software companies working together to make healthcare easier and more accessible for everyone. We deliver robust software solutions that support practitioners and foster exceptional patient experiences, contributing to the growth of healthcare clinics specializing in chiropractic, dental, orthodontics, optometry, and multi-discipline therapy.

Position Overview

As Senior Product Manager – Payments, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of product initiatives that improve how practices collect and manage payments. You will work directly with a cross-functional development team to define, build, and deliver impactful solutions that improve the payments experience for practitioners and their patients.

This role requires a customer-centric, data-informed, and results-driven product leader—someone who can work cross-functionally to translate customer insights into clear requirements, prioritize with discipline, and drive execution that delivers measurable outcomes.

The position is based in San Diego, CA or Las Vegas, NV with a hybrid work schedule (3 days per week in office).

Your Areas Of Accountability

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for our Payments capabilities, aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA to define and deliver high-impact product features and improvements.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle—from discovery through delivery—ensuring clear prioritization and effective execution.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future decisions.
  • Conduct user research and customer interviews to develop deep empathy and understanding of practitioner needs.
  • Partner with customer success, support, marketing, and sales to ensure successful product adoption and feedback loops.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the payments space.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer obsession within the product team.

Competencies For Success

  • 6+ years of SaaS product management experience, preferably in healthcare or payments.
  • Proven ability to drive product initiatives from concept to delivery in agile development environments.
  • Experience translating customer insights and data into clear requirements and product outcomes.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, business leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills; proficient in using data to inform priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and visual—with an ability to clearly articulate product value.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in both collaborative and independent work environments.
  • A passion for solving real problems and delivering products that create customer and business value.
  • At PracticeTek we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This includes internal and external market factors as well as your individual experience and skills. These considerations can cause compensation to vary but we reasonably expect to pay between $133,650 - $177,084 for this position.

We also believe in taking care of our people. Our comprehensive benefits package goes beyond the basics—with health coverage, flexible time off, wellness initiatives, retirement savings, and programs that support your growth and happiness both in and out of the workplace.

PracticeTek is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values employees with a broad cross-cultural perspective. We strive to create an inclusive environment, empower employees, and embrace diversity. We encourage everyone to respond. All applicants will receive fair and impartial treatment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, legally protected physical or mental disability, protected veteran status, status in the U.S. uniformed services, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information or on any other basis which is protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
