WALMART TECHNICAL DESIGNER

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Accurate and detailed technical flat sketching
  • Perform detailed garment measurements
  • Build and update BOMs and Measurement Sets using best practices and brand-specific guides
  • Collaborate with teams to create and maintain cohesive, brand-appropriate tech packs
  • Attend garment fittings with live models and buyers
  • Identify fit issues and workmanship challenges, proposing solutions
  • Adhere to brand-specific design aesthetics, fit proportions, and construction guidelines
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

  • Ability to work under pressure amidst shifting priorities
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
  • Effective workload and relationship management
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to process fit comments and follow managerial guidance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and big-picture perspective
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and good delegation skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and perform repetitive motions, bending, reaching, etc.

    • Minimum Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of experience in the fashion industry working with garments technically
  • Degree or certification in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of materials, construction, and fit
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with 3D Browzwear (V-stitcher) a plus
  • Familiarity with PLM systems like Bamboo Rose, Flex PLM, or Andromeda NGC
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
