Financial Reporting Manager | SEC, GAAP, and Big Picture Impact

Are you a detail-driven CPA who thrives at the intersection of financial reporting and technical accounting? This is your chance to join a high-impact, highly visible reporting team supporting executive-level decision-making and SEC compliance.

You’ll report directly to the Senior Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting and serve as a key contributor across external reporting, technical memos, and complex accounting analysis. This is a role for someone who wants to go deep on details, but think big when it comes to process improvement, compliance, and influence across finance.

What You’ll Do

Prepare quarterly SEC filings (10-K / 10-Q), earnings releases, and supporting schedules

Conduct accounting analyses on leases, share-based comp, software capitalization, and related party transactions

Research and draft technical memos for complex transactions (debt, equity, VIEs, M&A, etc.)

Monitor new accounting pronouncements and guide implementation of relevant standards

Contribute to the development and maintenance of key accounting policies

Support audit and quarterly review processes, including documentation and project coordination

Drive ad hoc analysis, reporting improvements, and process optimization initiatives

What You Bring

• 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial reporting
• CPA required, with 4–5 years in public accounting (Big 4 a plus!)
• Strong grasp of GAAP, SEC rules, and complex accounting issues
• Excel power user; comfortable with financial systems
• Exceptional communicator, able to distill complex topics clearly
• Self-starter with ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Analytical, curious, and solutions-focused
