About the Role
The VP of Finance will play a critical role in driving the company’s financial strategy including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and financial reporting. Reporting directly to the CFO, the VP of Finance will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing financial insights to drive business decisions and ensure sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership : Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing insights into key business drivers. Design and execute financial strategies that align with organizational objectives to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) : Lead the FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions and ensure optimal allocation of resources. Monitor performance against financial targets.
- Financial Reporting : Collaborate with the Controller and accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate financial health and deliver actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and external partners to communicate financial results and strategic direction. Engage with investment stakeholders to analyze and report on drivers of enterprise value.
- Mergers & Acquisitions : Contribute to M&A activities by supporting due diligence, valuation, and post-transaction integration. Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to enhance return on investment and strategic alignment.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management : Support the management of liquidity, cash flow, and capital structure to meet operational demands and fund growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CMA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP, CFO, or Director of Finance).
- Experience with Healthcare Finance Deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting; proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business strategies and insights.
- Experience in health care is required with experience in both payer and provider side preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
