Overview

Senior Azure DevOps Engineer role focused on troubleshooting, deployment, and collaboration across DevOps initiatives. Note : This description reflects responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations for the role.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting HTTP issues; focus on Microsoft Internet Information Services / .NET Applications
• Windows / Linux administration (primarily Windows) with proficiency in Linux
• Web hosting / deployment experience (IaaS and / or containers) using MSFT IIS, Kubernetes (K8S), Docker, AKS
• Scripting solutions in any language (PowerShell, Ansible, Bash)
• Collaborate as a team player; participate in daily communications (audio / video as needed)
• Documentation writing with examples of impact
• Address and action break / fix tickets via ServiceNow queue
• Participate as application / DevOps lead for new application projects (lower environments)
• Engage in collaboration channels to stay in sync as a high-performing virtual team
• Update deployment docs and network diagrams as needed
• Manage Requests_Log (ServiceNow tickets, firewall rules / RFCs, other RFCs & requests)
• Develop positive relationships with customer teams and project managers
• Work with Dev Teams, DBAs, and other infrastructure teams to create post-deploy smoke tests; utilize Ansible Playbooks, write PowerShell scripts, etc.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert on various applications and act as primary on-point for related requests / tickets / projects
