Job Description

As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will take ownership of consumer feature development across our React Native-based SDK, which powers 100+ games on the Skillz platform. You’ll be responsible for setting the technical direction, guiding the team through planning and delivery, and ensuring our mobile SDK delivers seamless, high-impact user experiences across iOS, Android, and Web.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile features using React Native, with direct impact across the entire Skillz game catalog.
• Lead technical execution of consumer product initiatives from conception to release.
• Translate product requirements into technical tasks and implementation plans for the team.
• Collaborate with QA to design robust test plans and deliver stable, bug-free releases.
• Own architectural decisions for the frontend SDK and help shape long-term technical strategy.
• Improve developer velocity by enhancing tooling, CI / CD workflows, and team processes.
• Work onsite 5 days / week at our Las Vegas, Nevada headquarters.

Total Starting Compensation including Base + Bonus + Equity : $218,400

Location : Las Vegas HQ - Onsite for 5 days per week
