At least 3–5 years of experience in an IT Service Management environment defining service management processes and procedures. Working experience across multiple methodologies and frameworks (e.g., IT Service Management, Lean Six Sigma, SDLC, Agile). Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking. Strong communication skills in English (B2). Strong organizational and time management skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team within a defined scope and pivot when needed. Able to write documentation related to processes, procedures, user guides and training materials. Overview
At ScotiaTech we want you to be part of a team that supports personal and professional growth. We are looking for a new IT Operational Readiness & Release Manager.
As an Operational Readiness & Release Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the efficient and successful delivery of software releases, ensuring IT operational readiness, actively participating in global release management initiatives, and collaborating closely with Change Management to streamline the introduction of changes into the production environment. You will also enable and support end users and ensure that all IT deployments adhere to governing regulations and Scotiabank standards, policies, processes and procedures for compliance.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the efficient and successful delivery of software releases and ensure IT operational readiness.
- Actively participate in global release management initiatives.
- Collaborate with Change Management to streamline the introduction of changes into production.
- Provide enablement and facilitation to deliver successful user support to stakeholders.
- Ensure IT deployments adhere to governing regulations and Scotiabank’s standards, policies, processes and procedures for compliance.
