Director, Business Intelligence - Value Improvement Office - Full Time 8 Hour Days (Exempt) (Non-Union)

This role at USC Rossier Global Executive Ed.D. is a strategic leadership position responsible for developing and executing the enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) vision for Keck Medical Center. The Director will partner with the Associate Administrator of the Office of Performance and Transformation to shape a comprehensive data strategy that supports organizational priorities such as quality, throughput, access, and growth.

The role involves leading a team of analysts and data specialists to deliver analytics solutions and dashboards that uncover root causes of clinical and operational challenges, supporting data-driven decision-making and transformative actions. The Director will foster collaboration with the broader USC IT Business Intelligence team to ensure strategic alignment and infrastructure development.

Key responsibilities include developing care redesign strategies, creating performance dashboards, overseeing data collection and analysis, executing improvement projects, building relationships with clinical and operational leaders, and leading training programs. The role also involves promoting a performance culture grounded in data, integrating technological solutions like EMR systems, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications required include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, at least 5 years of experience in process improvement within an academic health system, proficiency in PC and data analysis software, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or analytics, managerial experience, and relevant licenses or certifications such as Fire Life Safety Training.

The annual salary range is $158,080 - $260,832, with factors like experience and internal equity considered in offers.
