About the client : Our client is a U.S.-based personal injury law firm seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This role supports the firm’s litigation department by ensuring smooth legal operations and maintaining compliance with court procedures.
About the role : The Litigation Paralegal will manage the logistics and administrative aspects of personal injury litigation cases, collaborating closely with attorneys, clients, and support staff to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish is required, with strong legal research and document preparation skills.
What you’ll be doing :
- Coordinate and manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and court filings.
- Organize and maintain case files, documents, and evidence in compliance with firm policies.
- Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between attorneys, clients, and external parties.
- Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation matters.
- Monitor case timelines and ensure timely completion of legal tasks.
- Assist in trial preparation and provide support during hearings and trials.
- Implement and improve operational processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in litigation support.
Who we’re looking for :
Proven experience as a paralegal or similar role within a U.S. law firm, preferably in New York.Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case management software.Knowledge of litigation procedures, legal terminology, and court rules in New York.Fluency in Spanish and English.Experience working in a U.S. law firm is a plus.Position : Litigation Paralegal

Salary : USD 1,300 to USD 1,500 per month
