Senior Software Engineer

Our engineering team has built the largest private Medicare marketplace in the country. We focus on continuous improvement of our systems and culture. Our platform supports customers shopping for insurance and provides confidence to insurance carriers that their products are accurately represented.

We seek individuals who love building software. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will guide a development team in designing, developing, and delivering back-end and front-end systems. The ideal candidate has experience with Continuous Improvement, Continuous Delivery, SOLID architecture, and building scalable systems using Agile / Scrumban methodologies.

As a senior team member, you should be capable of mentoring others, including outside your immediate team. We operate with minimal micro-management, so self-motivation and the ability to manage your workload are essential. You should be adaptable, willing to learn new tools and technologies, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in our hybrid work environment.

We value engineers who are opinionated about software practices but collaborative enough to compromise for team success.

Responsibilities :

• Implement back-end and front-end solutions using best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and requesting approvals.
• Ensure unit test coverage for tools and software.
• Understand and execute email marketing campaigns.
• Create and utilize high-volume data-driven APIs.
• Develop troubleshooting skills for back-end and front-end issues.
