Job Summary

In this role, you will coordinate and manage the process of obtaining the company's personnel entry credentials, as well as provide support in the management of the accreditation processes to contractors and ensure compliance with the procedures and standards established for the project and the guidelines of WS (Workforce Services). Inform and receive operational and functional guidance from the Supervisor / Accreditation Specialist and / or WS Manager of the Project. Provide training and accompaniment to representatives of the contractors and subcontractors of the project. Review and control the processes of contractor companies on issues related to the accreditation management of their personnel.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Complying with and enforcing the accreditation procedure approved for the project and ensuring compliance with all employee data privacy regulations.
  • Participating in the planning of the execution of Industrial Relations by providing information on local accreditation and staff access control to the Workforce Services Manager.
  • Reviewing the documents / applications for accreditation and renewal of credentials of the company's staff, contractors, vendors and / or third parties.
  • Maintaining contact with other functions as necessary to achieve expedited accreditation of project personnel.
  • Training the personnel of the subcontractors the requirements of accreditation and guiding the contractors in the management of accreditation of their personnel, advising the contractors to comply with the raising of the observations that result from the revisions of the documentation for the processes of accreditation of personnel and / or equipment.
  • Managing and verifying monthly that all contractors and subcontractors of the project comply with the renewals of the validity of their credentials, fulfilling the delivery of documentation on time.
  • Identifying deviations in compliance with accreditation standards and / or procedures and propose corrective measures for improvement.
  • Submitting a monthly report of the KPIs resulting from the accreditation process.
  • Assisting and enforcing the local employment contracting procedure of the project contractors and subcontractors.
  • Keeping the accreditation database updated for all accredited employees of Bechtel and the contractors.

Education and Experience Requirements :

  • Requires bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial / Labor Relations, Administration, Industrial Engineering, technical career or any other related to the role, and minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar positions preferably in large-scale, high-value and complex EPC / EPCM projects or related to the construction and mining industry.
  • Experience in coordinating recruitment activities, employee accommodation, bus transportation or other manual employee activities (highly desirable).
  • Work experience in Cajamarca - Peru (desirable).
  • Required Knowledge and Skills :

  • Knowledge of the current legal - labor regulations of the general labor regime and special regime of civil construction, as well as in the labor legal regulations of Safety and Health at Work (preferable).
  • Extensive knowledge of the employment of Labor in Peru, the subcontracting of construction or the logistics of handicrafts.
  • Intermediate spoken and written English level (preferable).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A high level of personal integrity.
  • Availability to work in shifts at the remote site.
