Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic General Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales efforts across multiple industries including hospitality, light industrial, manufacturing, and automotive . This role is pivotal in driving business development, identifying market trends, generating new leads, and closing sales for our staffing and workforce solutions .
The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with a strong background in B2B sales, who thrives on building relationships and creating customized staffing solutions that meet our clients' workforce needs.
Base pay range
$150,000.00 / yr - $200,000.00 / yr
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the company’s client base across target industries.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and qualified leads.
- Sell staffing and workforce solutions by understanding client needs and tailoring service offerings accordingly.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Market Research & Strategy
Analyze market conditions and trends to identify opportunities for expansion or improvement.Stay current with industry developments and competitor activities to position our services effectively.Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with brand messaging and service delivery.Leadership & Reporting
Provide leadership to junior sales representatives and participate in recruiting, training, and mentoring efforts.Set and monitor sales goals, metrics, and performance benchmarks.Prepare and present regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.Qualifications
Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in staffing, workforce solutions, or a related service industry.5+ years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.Deep understanding of at least one of the following sectors : hospitality, light industrial, manufacturing, or automotive.Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.Compensation and Benefits
