Overview

Our client is an A+ rated international carrier seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Underwriting Specialist to join their expanding Middle Market division. The role handles Middle Market P&C lines in an assigned San Diego / Orange County territory. This role is remote with some travel for trainings and marketing.

Responsibilities

Manage new business production of property and casualty coverage with retail brokers in the assigned territory.
Handle a book spanning Wholesale, Manufacturing, Real Estate, and additional industry segments.
Prioritize new business production for the role.

Qualifications

3-10+ years of middle market P&C underwriting experience.

Retail relationships in the assigned territory.

Ideal candidates will have experience handling new business production of middle market size accounts with existing retail relationships in the territory.
