Our client is a growing North American raw material specialty chemical company seeking a high-energy r hunter who is also an excellent account manager for a home-based sales position in Southern California. Overnight travel is expected to be

Responsibilities

• Sell a broad range of raw material specialty chemicals (Additives, Pigments, Resins, etc.) to the CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, & Elastomers) markets in a region that includes Southern California and Arizona. This is technical selling.)
• Prospecting and cold calling to generate new business.
• Manage all pricing and account strategies.
• Grow the business with existing accounts and by adding new accounts.
• Travel overnight as needed.

Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary : $130,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience. Plus a generous bonus plan based on GP$ growth over the prior year. Realistic annual bonus in the 25% - 40% range of base salary, with no cap. Car allowance. Excellent benefits. Opportunities for advancement.
