Join to apply for the Senior Document Controller role at Lycopodium . Lycopodium is recruiting for a bilingual Senior Document Controller to join our team in Lima, Peru. Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Americas, the Senior Document Controller will be responsible for managing various aspects of document control, including the receipt, storage, retrieval and circulation of documents, review coordination, external submission and distribution control.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Documentation Management system, including setting up and explaining rules and procedures to colleagues.
- Control the identification, registration, distribution and retention of client, design, and vendor documentation.
- Implement and maintain procedures and specifications required to ensure the efficient management of all documents throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives, which support business priorities for continuous improvement.
- Perform constant analysis of produced documentation to check for compliance with project standards regarding numbering, graphic charts, used symbols and all other aspects related to document quality.
- Validate and maintain necessary means and tools for the timely preparation of the hand-over of documentation as requested.
- Register and file all relevant project documentation in accordance with Company approved procedures.
- Proactively support other team members as required to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Impose strict confidentiality in the performance of the documentation management during the tendering phase and throughout the course of the project.
Qualifications
Diploma or equivalent experience in Business or Administration is desired.A minimum of 3 continuous years’ experience in document control.Experience working in an EPCM environment.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within the document control environment and with colleagues across all business units.Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.Proactive in seeking and accepting guidance and feedback from subject matter experts.Driven and committed to achieving objectives through ongoing professional development.Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.High attention to detail and solid knowledge of vendor data requirements and processes.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and maintain a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.Demonstrated knowledge in the use of an electronic document management system or database (e.g., SharePoint, ProjectWise, Aconex).Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe.Benefits
