Essential Function and Responsibilities
- Lead our Commercial Analytics activities, leveraging data to drive robust analytical insights that inform critical business questions.
- Work with cross-functional partners to identify and prioritize business questions, develop analytical approaches and frameworks, and generate insights to maximize commercial opportunities.
- Communicate intricate data concepts and drive action among diverse stakeholders through compelling presentations and dashboards.
- Develop and implement in-house insights-ready reports and dashboards to drive actionable insights from internal and secondary data sources.
- Lead the evaluation, tracking, and reporting of brand performance metrics and KPIs through regular presentations with brand and leadership teams.
- Connect insights to tell a compelling story and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
- Partner with colleagues to advance the use of data sources and reporting across functions (I&A, Sales & Marketing, Agency partners, Market access, RWD, etc.).
- Drive continuous improvement and identify new capabilities to maximize competitive advantages.
- Apply hands-on analysis across diverse datasets to inform marketing and sales strategies, customer experience, and omnichannel programs.
- Oversee data quality management with external and internal data providers to ensure timely, accurate data; serve as a key resource for field reporting and data inquiries.
- Lead vendors / offshore data partners in connecting, integrating, and synthesizing analyses into actionable recommendations.
- Establish trusted partnerships with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner.
- Identify, prioritize, and describe data caveats and uncertainties in relation to business questions and strategic priorities.
- Provide thought partnership in building and standardizing commercial reporting.
Job Specifications and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in an analytic discipline (engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, etc.); Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in analytics.Strong analytical and coding skills (Python, R, SQL), MS Excel and PowerPoint.Strong knowledge of internal sales data and third-party pharmaceutical sales and script data.Advanced experience developing BI tools for commercial pharma applications (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy, etc.).Expertise in data analysis and building data-driven strategies that drive business results.Strong leadership with the ability to persuade, influence, and deliver impactful presentations.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; proven team player.Ability to meet deadlines, stay organized, and be self-sufficient.Compensation and Benefits
The base range for a Director is $226,000 - $260,000 per year. Individual pay may vary based on skills, experience, location, and training.
