Our entertainment client is hiring a Senior Brand Manager for multiple categories and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and advancing the strategy, experience, voice, campaigns, and capabilities of our multiple brands. This will include overseeing the development and implementation of brand positioning and plans (product, marketing, advertising, creative, social media, and business plans) to enhance our brands’ presence and awareness while contributing to our overall business goals. This role will report to the Brand Director.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage key Brand team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
- Develop and present brand program updates and reports
- Assist with the development of long-term and short-term brand strategies to support business objectives and goals, ensuring key stakeholder buy-in, including :
- Internal Teams
- Publishing
- Entertainment
- Strategic Partners
- Work with Finance, Sales and the President / CEO to develop and manage brand level P&L’s
- Develop and manage the budget for brand-related initiatives and allocate resources effectively to maximize the impact of brand strategies
- Collaborate with Internal departments, including Licensing, Publishing, Digital, Legal, Entertainment and Finance to ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints
- Oversee market research to understand industry trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape. Use this insight to identify opportunities for our brands
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of brand strategies and make data-driven decisions
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing, advertising, social, and PR plans
- Lead efforts to align with outside strategic promotional partners to enhance and increase brand awareness
Experience & Skills :
7+ years of brand management experienceBachelor’s Degree required; MBA considered an assetProven ability to independently problem-solve to ensure that DSE’s key strategic objectives are implemented and provide solutions that fulfill the brand function’s objectivesHighly organized approach to problem-solving and business planning; an intelligent quick study who can analyze problems and provide solutions rapidlyHigh level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and / or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or factsDemonstrated ability and success in developing brand campaigns for a major entertainment IP or popular consumer brandExperience in creating and delivering persuasive business development presentationsExperience working in a fast-paced organizationAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlinesAbility to collaborate and thrive in a team environmentExperience working for both a large enterprise and either a start-up or high-growth organization is a plus.Strong ability to develop collaborative relationships with multiple partners from executive to junior levels.Experience utilizing data and measurement to drive decisions.Seniority level
