About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate In-House Legal Counsel to serve as the primary legal advisor across commercial operations. This role reports directly to the CEO and will drive legal strategy in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and scalable infrastructure development for a growing SaaS business. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The role offers a hybrid work model with a requirement to be on-site in Long Beach twice per week.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a sharp, proactive legal partner who pairs technical excellence with business acumen. You thrive on building scalable systems, streamlining contract workflows, and acting as a strategic enabler, not a bottleneck for innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Legal Infrastructure : Build contract playbooks, templates, and scalable legal systems to support rapid growth.
• Communications Compliance : Ensure multi-channel compliance with TCPA, CAN-SPAM, DNC, and applicable state / federal communication laws.
• Contract Management : Own negotiations and redlining for SaaS agreements, MSAs, DPAs, and vendor contracts.
• Cross-Functional Legal Advisor : Partner with product, sales, and customer teams to support deal velocity and risk mitigation.
• Privacy Law Guidance : Act as internal expert on GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy regulations, including consent management and data transfer protocols.
• IP & Policy Development : Assist in protecting proprietary tools and drafting internal policies around customer communications, privacy, and IP.

What You’ll Need

The starting salary range for this role is $160k-180K depending on experience and qualifications, reflecting our dedication to competitive industry compensation. Additional details about our Total Rewards package will be shared during recruitment.
