Overview
Senior Business Analyst specializing in financial systems, you will play a key role in supporting technology solutions that power investment management and front-office operations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, translate them into system solutions, and ensure alignment between technology and the evolving needs of the financial services industry. This role demands strong analytical skills, an understanding of buy-side technology, and the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Note : This position is ONLY open for candidates based in Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders in asset management and buy-side financial services to understand business objectives and translate them into technology requirements.
- Apply agile methodologies to manage the delivery of business and technical requirements.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, write user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, and manage the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Analyze and document current and future state business processes, identifying opportunities for technology-driven improvements.
- Perform data analysis and reporting, leveraging SQL and database tools to provide insights into business and system performance.
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure requirements are implemented successfully.
- Support the adoption and usage of reporting platforms and financial applications across the organization.
- Drive initiatives to completion by proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, delivering clear documentation, presentations, and recommendations.
Qualifications
Experience working directly with front-office or order management systems in asset management.Hands-on knowledge of cloud-based platforms or financial data integration.Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Scrum Product Owner, or SAFe Agilist.Prior experience in consulting or transformation projects within financial services.Benefits
